Food & Consumables

At Paskals Day Nursery, we do not charge for general consumables – something we are proud to be one of the few nurseries in our area to offer.

Food Contribution: £5.00 per day
This includes:

• Breakfast

• A hot lunch

• Afternoon snack

• A light cold tea

Please note that government funding does not cover the cost of meals or snacks.

Bringing Food From Home

For the safety of all children in our care, we have strict guidelines regarding food brought in from home.

Any food provided by parents must:

• Match our nursery menu

• Be completely free from the 14 recognised allergens

Parents will be asked to sign to confirm they understand and accept full responsibility for ensuring all food complies with these requirements.

We care for children with serious allergies and dietary needs, including sensitivities to foods such as nuts, wheat and soya. For this reason, food prepared outside of a controlled, allergen-aware environment can present a significant risk.

While we will always take every reasonable precaution, Paskals Day Nursery Ltd cannot accept liability for any food brought in from home.
